THE CINESTAR IMAGE
CineStar is in the business of entertainment. It is our aim to ensure that CineStar is a cinema goer’s first choice for cinema entertainment, due to our high levels of customer service. Cinemas are an entertainment destination, somewhere where people visit to escape the pressures of their daily life, and to spend their social time with friends and family. Our guests expect to be greeted and attended to by friendly, courteous and well presented staff, and they wish to see first-class movies and to relax and enjoy themselves in a comfortable, clean and safe environment. We want our customers to always feel welcome, and to be treated as our guests by helpful, friendly and polite staff and receive the very best service and personal attention at all times. Guests need to feel special. As an employee of CineStar, our behaviour and personal presentation is therefore very important.
The Business Of Cinema
Cinema is one of the Middle East favourite forms of entertainment. Cinemas are busiest, on weekends and evenings when our guests have finished their work day and are seeking an exciting escape from their daily routine. Cinema staff therefore traditionally work nights and weekends. All CineStar staff traditionally work 48 hours per week (6 days), with a mix of day and night shifts where appropriate. All of our staff are multi-skilled staff members which means you may be working one day selling tickets in our ticket box and then serving our customers their coke and popcorn in the candy bar the next day.
Staff are covered by a life insurance policy, and after completion of every two (2) years of service, the company will provide you with an economy class return air ticket to enable you to visit your home.
A gratuity in the form of a salary-related payment in proportion to the years of service you have completed is payable at the end of your contract period. Salaries may be reviewed annually in accordance with the Company’s salary administration policy, and all staff may be paid a discretionary bonus, subject to the Company’s profitability and performance, and the staff members performance.
Our starting salary is approximately AED 3,400 which includes a travelling and accomodation allowance. Best of all, CineStar staff receive free movies, as we feel its essential that you can tell our guests about all the exciting movies that are showing on the CineStar BIG screens…
