CineStar is a joint venture between The Greater Union Organisation (Australia) and Majid Al Futtaim, the UAE development company which has changed the face of shopping, entertainment and leisure in the Middle East and North Africa.

CineStar currently operates cinemas in Ajman City Centre (Ajman), Deira City Centre (Dubai), Mall Of The Emirates (Dubai) and Marina Mall (Abu Dhabi). We employ almost 170 staff from all over the world including the United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Pakistan, Australia, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Nepal, India, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco and Indonesia. We have invested millions of dirhams in the UAE economy in order to offer our guests entertainment facilities which match those on offer anywhere in the world. CineStar is extremely proud of our contribution to the local community, supporting financially, and in other ways, many charitable or community service organisations including Medecins Sans Frontieres, Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, Gulf 4 Good, Rashid Hospital, Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, UNICEF & the World Food Program.
